The Franco-Egyptian movie Eshtebak (Clash) has been post produced in part at Malakoff Studio and Malakoff Images. It is selected in “Un certain regard” at the Festival de Cannes and it will be the opening movie.
The film directed by Mohamed Diab has been nominated at the 69th Festival de Cannes in “Un Certain Regard” selection. Colored by Guillaume Lips, sound edited by Fred Attal and Hubert Persat, Gadou Naudin foley artist assisted by Sylvie Naudin and mixed by Laurent Chassaigne.
Synopsis
Inspired by a real event , Clash takes place almost entirely in a riot van during a demonstration in Cairo after the removal of President Morsi in 2013.
